The 2nd Coming, part 5 - the Olivet Discourse

Shalom, friends.

The Olivet Discourse, or Yeshua`s prophecy about the end times to answer His disciples' questions, which was given on Har haZeitiym, the Mount of Olives, is a pensive lament of the future that flows back and forth down through the centuries as Yeshua` visits what will happen from various perspectives.

Here are how the first few verses of each version fit together. The format of each section is again "book chapter#:verse#:word#(- word#)":

Thus, although some may feel that Luke's account may have been said in the Temple while those of Matthew and Mark were said on the Mount of Olives, I make no such distinction. There are just too many similarities. Why would they basically ask the same thing in the same words twice? It makes more sense to me that Luke's account simply has a gap that doesn't show that they moved from the Temple to the Mount of Olives as Matthew and Mark make clear.
